Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline (*architecture, building engineering, facilities management, surveying or similar)

Appropriate postgraduate and/or professional qualifications in a relevant discipline (see *) and/ or an MBA,
Membership of the BIFM / IWFM
Able to lead on and deliver major estates projects
Broad experience both in the preparation and control of development programmes, building and engineering projects and in managing facility operations and maintenance services
A sound understanding of the legal and financial aspects of major property projects and transactions.
Deep and and varied estates knowledge and related legislative knowledge
A deep understanding of implementing and improving estates processes, policy, systems and procedures
Excellent people management skills
Proven track record of leading teams to excellence
Commitment to deliver exceptional customer service and the ability to respond appropriately to user demands and expectations
Ability to lead, motivate, develop and inspire trust in colleagues
